    Hey Guys,
    Is anyone doing anything or know anyone that is doing something for the longest day this year??

    Havent heard much about it at all…….. :blink:

    The idea was thrown around again this year but planets didn’t align, so no go for me.
    It’s still something I would like to do, but I also think that if I was going to put 3000klm’s on my bike I could think of a better way to do it.

    Is it on your bucket list TR ?

    The Donkey already made it there once without you TR,,,
    Albeit, it took longer than a day but only because Ace was in tow on the Beemer :P (did I say that)???

    I am sure the longest day has been done before on other machines equal to or even slower than the Donkey mate ;) ;)

    Rumours are that it is being watched more closely nowadays by Mr Plod and his mates in certain areas, and the wildlife is a bit thicker on the ground this year too ??? :S :S

    Give Lefty a holler mate, he did it last year and would have some good advice for an attempt…

    I can vouch for the wildlife out there. The roos are as thick as bloody grasshoppers. Did a job out between Hebel and Dirranbandi last week and had a meal at the Dirran pub. While we were driving back to our camp that night we hit at least 4 roos and we were not travelling particularly fast. Heaps of fairly small ones, but I don’t like hitting even small ones on a bike. Anyone riding out that way, be bloody careful!

    I came across this mess then I could see ACEs face looking back say thank God Donkeys :) here
