I have had a M2R helmet since the 4 day in 2006. It has always been my favorite helmet and meant a little something as it was of the whole 4 day package etc we had with the race team that year. That particular M2R helmet retailed for over $450 in 2006.

When Mal at Sutto’s told be about these new M2R X2.5 Roost Pro MX race: Helmets I was very interested. The new2 Helmets are a light weight MIT Carbon, Kevlar & Fiberglass shell construction. Naturally it has a removable washable liner, snell approved exceeds AS1698 and is DOT approved.

The price you ask, well its the first thing I asked, under $200 for a Kevlar helmet and with an old bull discount on top of that cheaper again ;)

Well I did 525kms last Saturday in motard trim and used my new M2R helmet for the ride. I dont normally use a motorcross helmet for motard as the big peak normally trys ripping your head back all the time when over 100kph. The M2R I noticed had a fair range of peak adjustment so I gave it a try and it was great with the peak down as far as it would go.
Its such a light comfortable helmet easily more comfortable then the more expensive Shoei’s etc that I used to wear and the previous model M2R that I still have that I thought was the best helmet I ever had.
