March 8 warm up for Wauchope

I am going for a ride as a warm up before Wauchope on the friday 8th March.

Will be riding in Kiwarrak State Forest (Starting at Hallidays Point) which has some great singles and open trails

Start at around 11am out for 3hrs or so then cool down and drive to Wauchope for a cold beer or two and be all ready for Saturday.

If you are keen let me know and I will PM you the Start Point details

Grade 3 with some grade 4 but ways around if needed

Kevdogs place is 80k’s south from Brackenridge, less than an hour (nearly all freeway). The forest is a couple of k’s from Kevdogs.

I was working today in Bulahdelah (yes on Sunday, this wet weather is really stuffing us around) looking at the Myall River which is now a lake :huh: and also the signs on the way up saying the road north of Tuncurry was closed due to flooding :unsure:

Should make for a dust free ride on Friday :woohoo:

The bog hole before that rut hill should be interesting too :woohoo:

Went for a ride at Clarence yesterday …. seriously wet! Maybe i shouldnt bother trying to dry gear out, just soak it in fresh water so it doesnt smell ready for Friday

Had a little stack and hurt the leg :whistle: … optimistic at this stage it will be ok :unsure:

Riding when you know you should be at work makes it the best riding ever :woohoo: Looking forward to Friday!

I am cancelling the ride on Friday due to I have trouble riding with a snorkel. :huh:

We have had over 250mm over the weekend :angry: and high winds. So many tracks wont be clear.

Will organise another ride in the near future.

Hope wauchope is still ok for saturday. :woohoo: :woohoo:
