Arranged for a few mates to go for a local ride this morning. 2 bailed before kick-off due the weather – ended up being just me and Husaberger.
What a great mornings ride :P Yep, abit damp with 5mm of rain last night and drizzling this morning and a chilly 11 degrees. No dust tho :) The creeks were full and flowing. The clay was treacherous and the rocks were slippery but was a really enjoyable morning :silly: There were numerous “where the fu kawe?” moments as we took lots of tracks that we dont usually ride on. I also figured out that the “I’ve got one more ride left in that tyre” was ok for the dry but should’ve been changed after my last ride  but it got me through the ride ok. A couple of hills required a couple of attempts due to lack of traction.
We stopped and had a chat to a couple of guys on mountain bikes who were also reveling in the perfect conditions. No other bikes or 4wd’s to be seen.
Bikes and riders arrived home intact with smiles on their faces! B)

Hey Budge good to hear you powered on and rode, I have just moved back to Sydney (appin) and am keen to get back on the trails after a year off.
I would have come along for sure, drop me a line in future if you need a wingman who isn’t afraid to get wet ;)

    Cheers wazzup
