    Meet crash heathcote rd early and as usual i got there early :( that place is scary in the dark:huh: than i could hear a bike coming buuuurp buuuurp yep it was crash no mistake that time in the morning the 650 really barks. we said our hellos and off we went just played follow the leader some nice singel tracks rocky little hills crash wishes he had longer legs:ohmy: took me to a single track loop cupple laps latter sweating like a pig time for rest with mud on my back:silly: yep need new tyres.off again lots of good tracks out here. all was going well till we got to some big sandstone steps went between cupple big rocks with a crunch got to top no problem wonce at to looked down to see i had riped tip of rear brake lever and one bolt out of my fotpeg :angry: cant do much with one foot peg oh well crash lead me out of bush and of i went on the black stuff again;) but leg helled up this time:woohoo: till next time thanks crash and i got the snapped bolt out no problemB)

    hey Tiny were you able to save the brake pedal? I had to replace mine on my 92 Husky 360 years ago and It was nearly $200 :ohmy:

    great dont tell me that :ohmy: it only broke the tip off but looks like there riveted on rest of it is not bent just tip gone any ideas mister fix it:)

    Ha Ha yeah shouldnt be to much trouble,get yourself some 2mm stainless sheet and bend up a new tip and use a bolt to fasten it to the pedal.

    That or weld a bit of metal on the end. If you have a welder of course.

    No can Do ,steel tip,aluminium alloy lever

    check Ebay as there is a pedal there,maybe the same although it is for a older unit probably pre 95 (nissin)

    I didn’t say weld steel on the end, I said metal ;) That said I’d be impressed if you are geared up to weld alloy at home.

    It’s just buy another one, it’s worth less than how many hours of my time faaarking around to try and fix it :p

    Its all good got a new tip on order suttos have them same as ktm or burg not sure but got one cheap:woohoo: ollie you were right 160 bucks for new one

    Be impressed Moto! I can weld most anything at my place.But I prefer to just take it to work and get paid to do it and impress the young fella’s while Im at it!! just ask Mac he knows how it works:laugh:

    I was going to hang s*#t on ya about over priced European overated bikes, but I just feel sorry for you mate !! You are a nice bloke and you went to buy a XR650 when you got that chainsaw and got side tracked, so anyway bad luck champ.
