Finally have decided to do away with the DRZ’s original tyre (Dunlop Gritty)After throwing everything at it, it’s still got plenty of life left in. but with my riding mainly in sandy, loamy ground i found i was not confident with the grip and worse still hill climbing.
I aim to fit a Michelin AC10 to the rear after what i have read about them. and they are road legal.
Has anyone had experience with these tyres? I have searched previous threads and cant find anything on them.
Cheers, JAK
December 18, 2009 at 7:55 am #165643I have been running a pair of them on the KLX mate.
I know it is no power bike or hardcore dirtbike either, but I purchased them from Mal @ Suttos as they are road legal & not too bad on the dirt either.
I have spoken to a few guys that use them on 450`s actually & they rate them highly as well.
Admittedly they change them much more frequently than meI changed mine on & off the bike for the first few months to save them for the dirt, but got jack of that after a while & I love them on the tarmac, seem to suit my bike & riding style well
I will definitely use them again
:laugh:December 18, 2009 at 8:36 am #165649Thanks Eagle,

I’m no speed demon either and the bike should’nt do them any damage.
December 18, 2009 at 8:51 am #165650I run a kenda budds creek on my drz jak and it is fantastic, however I do ride like chad reed and my bike could tear the lugs off a tractor tyre
