Once again I will be throwing a birthday bash ride here at Wauchope, on the weekend of March 5/6/7. Here is a rough plan on what will be happening.
I reserve the right to make changes as required.

    ALL BIKES MUST BE REGISTERED!

Friday the 5th will be a dual sport ride, meeting at Moose’s place at 7.30. The exact route has yet to be determined but it will definitely include a run on the famous Point Plommer road. You can expect to do about 160km for the day, which will be a mixture of Tar (kept to a minimum), Fire trails and some interesting single trails. Grade 2-4.
At this stage we hope to be having lunch at Crescent Head Tavern (own expence). A fuel stop at a service station will be incorporated into the ride. We intend to be back at Wauchope by 3pm to allow for bike maintainance for the following days riding.
Dinner for the evening will be at Wauchope RSL at 7.30 pm. A bus will pick you up and drop you back at the Farmstay at about 10pm.

Saturday the 6th. We will be meeting at the Breckenridge Farmstay from 6am for a hot breakfast provided by Beer Barrow Barry and Shirley.

After breakfast at 7am be ready to be put to the test a little, as you will be on a RiderX boot camp ride, up around Bago and the Comboyne Plateau. Those who attended this ride last year will remember the sweet trails that RiderX lead them along. Once again RiderX has been kind enough to lead the ride again. No doubt he is already out in the bush plotting a challenging 100km + loop of awesome single trails, trails that will have you grinning from ear to ear. Be prepared for a grade 4-5 ride, that will give you and your bike a good work out.

For this ride, RiderX has again organised for Wauchope Country Kitchen to cater for our trailside lunch and hot snacks back at Breckenridge Farmstay after the ride. They have also indicated that they will provide a trailside top up of fuel too!!! The cost will be around $30 per rider for the catering and fuel package, (payable by ALL riders before the ride). This isn’t a paid ride but if you are too tight to kick the tin for the convenience of the fuel and lunch package supplied by the caterers, you best not come.
Saturday night we will most likely have a sausage sizzle at the Breckenridge Farmstay.

Sunday the 7th, is entirely up to the riders, who are still keen, after Saturday’s ride to hit some more trails around Bago. We are working on a leader to lead a ride on Sunday, seeing the night before is my birthday, I cannot confirm my attendance or sobriety for the Sunday ride.

I have organised accommodation for the visiting riders in the dorm at The Breckenridge Farmstay. Check it out. It suits our needs well and it is only a 200 meter dash to the Bago State forest.

The accommodation cost is $27.50 per night
The full hot breakfast is $9.00 per person (Cereal and Bacon eggs)
The Saturday night sausage sizzle $7.00 per person

The rider list so far. Be quick as it will fill up fast as we are capping it at 30 riders.A reserves list will be created should there be any drop outs

Ok here is the rider list so far. The Saturday ride is full at this stage but we will be creating a reserves list, as from past experiences there is always a cancellation or two. So if you are keen still put your name down, you never know your luck. I am also interested in hearing from someone that could do a bit of running about for us on Saturday with the food etc. Preferably someone that wont get as pissed as last years lunch bunnies……LOL

One thing I should mention too, is if you ride a 2 banger, please ensure you carry enough oil for 5 liters of fuel.
