Ollie if you thought it was only me yelling lets get to the pub before it stops meals you must have your missing fingers stuck in your ears   Everyone wanted a feed at 1.30 with you lost in the forest
Good report, and yes I had boiling rear brakes from chasing the group and passing you (which was easy) when Bollocks bike stopped and I didnt want to get wrapped in the Lantana you did minutes later thus clearing it for me

We had been discussing people doing that earlier in the night
although I am sure Ollie just wanted cold and his weren’t from the trip up
Thanks for sweeping Saturday mate, I have an Old Bull prize for you that I will give you on the Sofala ride mate

March 8, 2010 at 7:51 am #172811Yeah, I wasn’t having a go at him, it was just funny was all. Plenty of people sweep too so no prize required, happy to take my turn
March 8, 2010 at 8:43 am #172820yep those beers were hot and Mick kindly offered me his coldies. The Dutch beer tastes pretty good just give me a serious hangover the next day. :S
Thanks Jeffro for doing a sterling job sweeping mate
Ollie
March 8, 2010 at 8:49 am #172821Yes, thanks for sweeping on the Friday Jeffro.
It is a necessary job that doesn’t often get the recognition it deserves. Because most of the rides I do, I am the leader ,soto be honest I have never been a sweep rider on a ride until after lunch on Saturday, I really enjoyed the opportunity to ride at any pace I wanted and because of the corner man system, it also gave me the opportunity to cross swords, so to speak, with every rider on the ride(bar the lead). Most of them blow me away though

I agree with you Booney. If it was that good they would keep their mouths shut to keep the numbers down for next years ride.

March 8, 2010 at 9:47 am #172842Here is another pic of the Great Cake Bollocks made for me,it appears that I may have had too much to drink, especially for bloke who was going on a RiderX boot camp the next morning. :S
Look at that mongrel son of mine. His latest hobby is “photo bombing”, you can’t take the bugger anywhere, if he sees group of Koreans or the like having a group shot done, he will be in their photo’s doing something stupid.
Google photo bomb when you are bored next, there is some funny stuff there.March 8, 2010 at 9:51 am #172731Allllll righty then :woohoo:
Saturdays report
Should not have helped Kram scull his last schooner the night before :S
Woke up,felt like some scumbag belted me in the knee with a baseball bat from the ride on Friday, walked out to see poor Boulder with his knee on ice, what the bloody hell am i bitchin about? Got dressed and had a yarn to Holeshot.Holeshot decided to pull out of the ride which was fair enough as he was very concerned about any rider stuck behind him copping a bit of roost….and i don’t mean mud(splatter bum).Walked outside to see more bulls than the Tamworth rodeo, impressive site…this was gonna be a cracker :cheer:
Off we went and it reminded me of all those choppers in Apocolyps Now heading off in a swam to blow away some Nogs..”I love the smell of dirtbikes in the morning” :woohoo:
Like a good Melbourne Cup stayer i settled down early towards the back of the field. To my surprise i even made corner man once  All caution was thrown to the wind this fine Saturday morning…”THIS MORNING….WE DINE IN HELL”!!!!!
Lots of mud, slime , ruts, sweet singles and trickey shit…i was having a hoot :cheer:Had no idea where we were, or where we were going and didn’t give a rats bum.Fog got the better of me and i opted for the safety glasses, obviously they were not perscription glasses as this was the begining of a few dramatic logistical dismounts for my self(hmmm….i seem to have a lot of these in my reports  )First one was near the highway and i bounced on my lovehandles in the mud,sat up and i had a stick lodged into my mouth, about the width of a ciggy and about 2 foot long…weird…that coulda got ugly
Watched our fearless TB have a heavy smackdown on a state forestry booby trap …your bike looked like the Steam pipes at the Liddell Power plant near Muswellbrook there for a moment mate
Had a nice 180 at one point which knocked the wind outa me for a sec…once again my bike was trying to turn around and go Home  .
Oh yeah, and that one infront of you Mick,i could see in a split second that my bike wanted to duck of into the bush for a leak so i had no option but to hit the eject button, and quickly…thats why i managed to run in mid air and half way down the hill,i’m getting good at those…i will teach you one dayCant rember the others, maybe it was concussion?…had 5 that day and 3 drops….cool
Big feed for lunch,….and yes…i was rooted…bugger all sleep during the week..blah blah blah  Headed back to the chook ladies place with Jefro,STM and lead by…ummmm…bugger…canāt remember his nameā¦nice bloke, wore all Orange riding gear..you know who you are..thanks.Went to the land of Nod because I was very concerned I would not be physically able to sit up all night and drink sherberts with the Lads !!!..Wise decision as it turned out a bloody funny session āNAIL EM UPā¦NAIL SOME SENSE INTO EMā :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: ā¦ahhā¦.you had to be there.
Big thanks to you Mick, thanks for the invite.Cheers X,Ash and the rest of the lads who cleared the trails, swept(my best Buddies) led(never saw you) and anyone else who had anything to do with the ride,I could go on but it is starting to sound like an Oscar acceptance speech.
I really had a great time and Old Bulls Rock
Pics and Vids to followBol :woohoo:
