I did the Friday ride B) but had to pull out of the saturday ride :( We did some awsome tracks up to Gingers Creek, The fog getting to Elands was as thick as Pea soup only had about 15 metres visibility and googles were useless:laugh: We saw plenty of wild life both alive and dead  Young Sam and I stopped to watch to 4 foot long red belly black snakes inter twined and raised up:laugh:  (what does a snake have to do to get a root around here  ) Unfortunatley due to a couple mechenical failures we didnt get to gingers until about 3 pm and we had to main trail and black top it back to Wauchope :( The 300 two stroke didnt like that and niether did I

I managed to hit a square edged pot hole and jarred the bejeezus out of my already F#@%ed up thumb so I text Mick this morning that I was a no show :( they will be having some fun as it is still raining on and off.

Firts thing thank you Mick for putting on another great weekend and Happy BirthDay for tomorrow mate

Thanks to our lead rider and sweep which I have forgotton there names but they did a great job.

Friday night dinner was great at the RSL to cacth up with everyone.

Thanks for everyone who turn up and made the day what it was, even that the weather was not that great , but that’s the fun of it, somthing from left field.

It was good to see every one standing under the awning looking out to the rain over Bago I think it was that or it was a running start not sure.

Only did one loop but it was great, had lunch then sat around with Bolder Fish Krame Dude Glen 71 Keith and Adam and Rebore had a couple of beers and talk about the day that was.

    Another great OBT ride

    Cheers

The tracks got a little bit tighter but still fairly open and still flowing.

In this one I get too close to Osmooian (I think) and get sprayed, you can also here the DRZ playing up just after that.

That’s it from me, I didn’t take any photo’s other than from the lookout.

    Thanks again to all involved.

What a great couple of days riding and having a social drink with some great blokes!!

Thanks to all who came and had a ride regardless of how shitty the weather got on Saturday morning. Those who piked it really missed out on some great fun!!!

Here are some pics from the weekend, I didn’t get many photos on the Saturday ride as the humidity played havoc with my camera and it kept fogging up..

Friday morning the weather looked ominous

    SDC10983.jpg

It cleared up ok for the start of the ride.

    SDC10991.jpg

The fog really rolled in thick at Comboyne and made navigating across the paddocks a little difficult to say the least

    SDC10992.jpg

We eventually found our way through the fog to Elands to top up with fuel

    SDC10993.jpg

We had a quick stop at Ellenborough Falls

    SDC10994.jpg

There was some” Adventure” on the ride when we started hitting some sweet single trails

Looking back up the greasy hill into the Valley of doom

    SDC11002.jpg

We eventually got to Gingers Creek for Lunch

    SDC11007.jpg

    SDC11005.jpg

Dickie took to opportunity to have a power/nanna nap

    SDC11004.jpg

From there the pace back to Wauchope was hectic so I had no time to take anymore pics.

    More on the weekend later.

Thanks to Mick for a pisser of a weekend, Polly and I have just topped the weekend with a ripper 110km of Nundle singles to add to the wauchope and cells ride so am totally knackered now after 3 days of play. WHile we missed the adventure on friday I was glad we could help out with some trails to make everyones life a bit harder. Saturday was simply the hardest quickest most difficult ride I have ever done and not being able to use glasses because of the rain and moist conditions just added to the day. The personal test it produced was great because I got through it and will be a better rider for it. Mick your trails are incredible and it was a priviledge to be on that ride, thanks for the oppurtunity and Happy Birthday.

    Great Rides
    Great blokes
How the f can it get better?

(perhaps naked nymphs delivering cold beer at the rest stops, but thats being picky!):P :P

    It was awesome :cheer:

What a lucky man you are.

You make it look so easy (but it isn’t) and this morning looked like you could do it all again

Hope we helped you have an enjoyable birthday and may you have many more :cheer:

    Adam.
