Got a last minute plan together for a mid week ride,as usual the weather declined,as soon as we geared up,but only mist so can;’t whinge too much about that, but no dust as a bonus.
sb-250 took the lead we linked together plenty of singles and he lead me through a few i’d been past but never checked.Stopped to check out a creek crossing and noticed the brake pin missing from my rear caliper so a quick wire job had that sorted.
Back behind the pines and some quicker trails found i had a pinch flat front  so out with the tools for a new tube.
Back into we did about 8 more k of singles and after a hill climb stopped at the top only to see a flat front
Out with the tools again and sb’s tube has a new home, thanks mate.Buy now weve improved our tire changing skills, operator error maybe but hole was around the tread area soo i’ll just blame my tools  This time using sb’s motion pro levers
all was good.
Back into it we linked plenty of singles and with only two of us covered plenty of ground swapping the lead, lots of logs down, and plenty of diaginal wet tree roots to keep it interesting.
As my fuel range is around the 100k mark we turned for home and linked in as many singles as possible, but was feeling second hand by now,did the roughest tracks on the last leg and nearly binned it a few times, always interesting riding the worn out bits when your tired.
Passed a couple of blokes on CRF’s gave the nod and headed back to load up. Great ride plenty of action, clocked up a 100k no stacks, learned some tips on fitting my leatt to zac armour and am converted to motion pro tire levers and tire inflators.thanks sb for coming out.
