What a day, theres no better way to spend a workday than to head out to the forest for a ride :P .
Went out to Kenilworth with Cakey at 8am to hit some hills and lots of single track on our way to Imbil, after a bit of rain on monday the tracks were in prime condition with no more dust and plenty of mudholes to roost your mate  stopped off by the waters edge at Borumba Dam for smoko :P then onto some more single track to Imbil for lunch ;) fuelled up then set off on some awesome new tracks back to the car with some big hills thrown in, 130ks covered then home for a few coldies B) all in all had a great day.

Mate its the way to go, no traffic in the forests :)

I was just trying to get the last ride out of the chain/sprockets and rear tyre 😆 now need new ones and some front wheel bearings before Coffs :S what are these s12 tyres?

S12’s are probably the best tyres you can get (most will agree) for loamy soft conditions. They do wear quick on harder stuff though. That said I’ve had well over 1000K’s out of a rear before on hard pack stuff.

I will be getting a new Kenda Washougal for the rear if I can get to the shop that sells them next week. They are the best all round, good value tyre I’ve found so far.

Try an S12, they’re made by Michelin and just about every bike shop will have them :)
