After parking at the Cemetery at Millfield and gearing up Tryhard and myself set off south up the mountain and hit singles asap to get a warm up. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky but there was frost on the ground.
It didn’t take long to warm up with loamy soil and lots of grip and tight trees. The Barkbusters got a good workout here and throughout the day.
Turn your computer screen on it’s side for this

We passed Moto’s castle and it looked in regal form in the sunshine. Also remembered Boony’s corner from a previous ride where he had the Kawasaki railing a berm at 70kmh and dragging the handlebar on the ground
Back to the car at the Cemetery for a fuel top up and then out to Pokolbin SF. Bit of a transport and singles, singles, glorious singles until they ended too soon. Finally found GavB’s mystical rock step trail 400m after getting onto Cedar Creek Rd. Followed this trail until it got to the rock steps. Tryhard had a crack and got within pushing distance from the top. I was in no mood to take photos of the reving KTM on it’s side or having a crack myself so we turned around to leave it for another day.
Back to Millfield store for a latte (what’s a trail ride without a latte) and a bit of lunch.

Tryhard and his latte

The day was only half over so we went south again and found some more ST and some shenanigans.

The day was done.
There were some other photos that didn’t turn out on my crappy camera and what should I find when I get home. The misses has bought me a new camera. How good is that.
Best ride I’ve been on.
Funny how I say that after every ride.
