Fancy a DRZ400 rider asking if a 300 two banger has enough power for serious trail riding??It would eat your yellow shitter for breakfast Boony ,so stop stirring the resident Kato riders and have a go on one.
I rode a brand new , literally out of the box one, at louee and was impressed. I will say that the 300 gasser seems to have more “tractor power” though from what I have seen.
This has more Tractor Power
It has plenty enough suspension for Boony and the rear tyres will get heaps of grip and won’t wear out unless he rides on the road too much.

February 17, 2011 at 11:36 pm #197013It would probably go ok in the singles with those skinny front wheels, not too much to repair either, its just an engine and gearbox with wheels on it!

February 18, 2011 at 12:07 am #197015i probably would have went other ways with a 300 smoker , mates got a ggas gas and we call it the 3 stoker as it is very torquey and controllable and i still had a thing for the huskys and did look at wr 300 but last year anyway, the ktm was the onlyone with the button i think the gas gas have got them this yera and is worth a look as they are controllable , but just a suggestion for you or anyone else looking at a husky 300, thers one advertised in the local trader down here 2010 model with 3 rides on it for $9000
February 18, 2011 at 2:55 am #196983Yes Boonster talked to my new over the road neighbor who just bought bikes and bits. Yes I am name dropping and loving it:laugh: He said Cycletune might be seeing a lot more orange in his shop. Yes the 300 kato would be the one to make me go to the other side. Remember we were having this talk one day an you said what it would take you to go to the other side and you said Brad Pit and we had to remind you we were talking about bikes:laugh:

February 20, 2011 at 1:06 pm #197036going from a soft yellow berry to a hard core citrus would be to much for your yummy to handle Boony.
prolonged consumption on your behalf would inevitably induce such symptoms as heart burn, runny bum, stretched arms, wheely rash and the dreaded tankslap.
on our behalf if would cause irritated red eyes and tender ribs from all the laughter at what Bol would be posting up on youtube.
. :cheer:
:woohoo: 😆 :pinch:  👿
