Monday 2nd Nov Clarence/Lithgow/Newnes

G’day everyone, there will be 2 of us Dubbo folk coming across to the mountains over the weekend and we are looking to squeeze as much moist single trail riding as humanly possible in 3 days. We have has 26mm+ here so we are excited.

Trying to get some more locals to come across but they must work too hard or have family “commitments” (Rocket/Ecks-Man/Smokin)

Sat = Tag along at Wattagans with OBT crew
Sun = A repeat of Sat but faster and with niggling soreness (if this ride goes ahead)

Monday = For those that like to take a sicky or have the day off: We will be camping up near the old Newnes Prison but can meet riders near the pine tree camping spot on Glow Worm Tunnel Rd or wost case Zig Zag railway. We know a few tracks around here ourselves but are happy for anyone else to take the lead too.
Unsure how to grade this day, I don’t think it really matters as there will most likely be just Grant and I (wheel on wheel , handlebar to handlebar). If someone does want to come along, great, we are very accommodating. I enjoy riding other peoples bikes up hills (as long as they don’t mind the running jokes for the rest of the day) plus the free test ride . I don’t think OBT has any “absolute beginners” so anyone is welcome.

If the Sunday ride doesn’t happen we could head to Clarence Sunday instead. We shall see. Either way Monday is go.

Meeting Point: 7:30am – 8:00am Still not 100% yet. Either the Zig Zag side or the Wolgan road side

Monday sound good axel, I can only ride to lunch time. But I can take you on some tracks you might not have been on before, if you want to meet at Blackfellas Hands on the Wolgan Road earlyish.

Hi Mal, been a little while since we rode together with Patto from memory.
You are welcome to show us some more trails, that would be fantastic. Early as you like as we will be camping out there.
We shall see how the Sunday ride goes, we may be joining you for that one if the Wattagan party stops on Sat.

Bloody hell, the sooner I can get someone to help out at work the better, this would be a corker!

Can’t do a Monday as things stand though… in fact I’m struggling to get any days at the moment! Between work and the family, its a tragedy I tell ya!

Hey Bob, no problem.
Very likely we will be still at the Wattagans Sunday till the evening.
Monday definitely riding with Mal up Clarence way. Let me know if you can or can’t make it as we get closer.

Hehe we both have new brake pads…..and new tyres too!
