you will not require a new rear tyre eagle if you do not ride your bike to wear out the one that is currently on it,

    Wishful thinkin` Boon:P

I am of the opinion that a good dirt tyre will not last on the road. Likewise a good road tyre will not last on the dirt – or if it does it will not grip. When I was riding my DR250 regularly on the road I had two sets of tyres, one 80/20 road tyres and one knobbies. Swapped them as I needed.

No other takers on the surveyor then? Boony? You definately in mate? ;)

Set of those yoko wheels Boony and the shop could fit the tyres for you when you buy them for no extra cost (or they should if you buy them from them) and you could swap wheels over in 5 mins and relax and drink your beers

Yeah, but don’t we all need the practice at tyre changes TB? Doesn’t take long to get rusty at it if you don’t do it very often…

It would take me the entire A4de to change a tyre lol The reason it takes an hour is the beers fault

Dunno Al, I thought the ED12 Bridgy was a shocker, but you are right, the Kenda’s are usually a biartch to change, especially the harder ones like the Carlsbad.

I always reckon if you time me on a tyre change you’d better have hour hands on the stopwatch!

so its not just me that recons kendas are hard to change, that carlsbad of mine is crapp to put on but the fortune i`m running at the moment is a lot easier,, probably due to the softer sidewalls
