Quote:Yes it was a great ride Murph & Morgo;)Even MickP, who is a seasoned enduro rider (so I am told by GavB:P
) was considering calling it a day at the servo, but he soldiered on with ya`s!!! LegendYeh Eagle, but that was thirty years ago, a lot of water under the bridge since then.
It was not long before we were into more of those greasy hills and I had little reserve left in the tank. Scotty went down in front of me,he was not going that quick when he came down, must have been the way he landed. At the bottom of that hill I decided to pull the pin. So Morgo, Scotty and I headed back. Scotty must be tough as nails as he was right with us all the way back to Murphs with his broken collar bone. Thanks again to Murph and Morgo for a great ride and all the help to everyone.
I was pretty shattered when I got home and have been limping around all day. I’ll have to get fitter to complete Murph’s rides of attrition as it was only the young fit guys left at the end. He did not say what grade the ride was going to be???? The wet slippery conditions definitely didn’t help. But it was all good fun with a great bunch of blokes.
Hope to catch up again.

I was thinking something along the lines of The Murphsberg Rally.
Sounded like quite a ride.Hope Scotty heals quick and gets out there again soon. What grade was this ride
June 29, 2009 at 1:11 pm #141666normally I would consider it grade 3-3.5 but the mud upped it to 4-4.5
by the way we dropped off 2 technical sections in the interestof time.the rock drop off that we have photos of from previuos rides was missed .

For those of you that don’t know , I only have dial up connection at home and it would take forever to post the pics.TB, that was only one KTM (300) that failed but it was exactly the bike I was looking to buy next. Might be a message somewhere there:unsure:
