You are being nasty to me tonight. I just happen to have the metabolism of a 5-year old (x10 maybe)so I can afford to have two pies.
Keep in up or I’ll either get you admin’d (oooh) or kick the back of your chair.

Quote:So WB I have been thinking as I am on the central coast and am riding my bike home on Wednesday to ride back on Thursday I have been thinking about my routeNow as I am going past Chittaway bay from where I am staying I will be going to Tuggerah, down through Kangy Angy to Ourimbah up dog trap road to somersby down to somersby falls and across onto the old pacific hwy and down past the pie in the sky.
On the way back I will go past the pie in the sky back to peats Calga, up past the old oak milk bar at peats ridge at to kulnura down bumble hill and back to Tuggerah via yarramolong are they the routes we are taking on the 9th??

Not really but a nice try TB.
We will be using the nice windy Pac Hwy from West Gosford through over old Moone Ck bridge an on to Cowan.
I hope the rest will be a nice surprise on the day, not so much open high speed as what you are doing, more back roads and “technical” roads where speed is as important as reading the road ahead (or following me).
PM me if you really must know (after all your the boss), you would like the roller coaster but your going the wrong way on Wednesday..What time you coming through Chittaway Bay? Maybe you will have time to stop by at the house of Beemer (if I am home)?

OK I am interested, I lived at Ourimbah for 7 years and Old Chittaway Rd near you for nearly two years and rode dirt and road bikes all over the central coast so I am interested to know whats more “technical” or back rd then dog trap rd, sure we shouldn’t have knobbies fitted  There arent that many routes thats for sure.
Bring it on I am looking forward to it. I will take you phone number and give you a ring wednesday arvo

December 14, 2009 at 7:52 pm #165254Oh well maybe not more of a challenge than Dog Trap, actually Dog trap is a tricky one and until now wasn’t being considered for this ride – maybe that will be in “Motard to Pie in the Sky 2” ?

AnonymousDue to our recent decision to cut back on ride time, both myself and Kylie will no longer be coming on this ride Beemer.
Have a safe and enjoyable ride to those that are going.

Even If I have to go it alone it will still be a great ride.January 1, 2010 at 10:50 pm #165918
AnonymousHey Wikd I just checked the weather forecast for this ride and it looks like after today the rain will start to dissipate. The forecast for the Friday before is for less than 1mm of rain. Hopefully that will continue on for the Saturday.

I wont be able to do this ride now anyway, the bike is apart waiting for warranty parts from Germany so it is extreemly unlikely it will be ready in time
I will put up a postponement on the original first post now.
January 19, 2010 at 7:34 am #166763Date has been reset: This Saturday 23/1/2010 Please read the first post on page 1.
My bike is fixed and now I am starting to think about going back to dirt mode so, I will be going on this ride even if no-one else does.
Anyone keen who’s from the Sydney metro can organise a ride of their own to meet mine at Pie in the Sky at 11:30am.
Feel free. The weather looks good at this stage.

Saturday is forecast to be warm (mid 30deg.) so let me know who is going, I will PM the Central Coast meeting point and time.
Put your Camelbak bladder in the fridge now if you’re riding this weekend.
January 20, 2010 at 10:13 pm #168797Wikd as it works out Mal 5.1 and Donna with Salina and I will be down at Hornsby on Saturday morning on our adventure bikes. We will be at the pie in the sky around 10 – 10.30 (11 at the latest) for a pie and drink.
