I took a run out to Jerry’s servo/cafe at Kulnura today, and bumped into a mate who had the same idea.
He was on a Triumph Sprint, so we decided to go to Wollombi.
All good and a nice fun ride, I even took a couple of happy snaps…

    G,Day wikd,

good to get a bit of dual use out of your bike, motard style.Always hate how mine spends so much time in the shed.

Any way are they the factory wheels? or custom?

Hey Wikd, when mine is ready we’ll have to do a trip together. I can’t wait!

Yes for sure Kylie and maybe we can get others to join us like TB and who ever else has a road setup bike.

TwoBanger; I dont think there are factory motards for the 450, these wheels were adapted from 2 different road bikes and then modified from my DRZ400 setup to fit the Beemer.
It is not perfect but the hardware is safe and lots of fun if I ride with my head switched ‘on’.

edit. i think we will drive or get a lift with friends to bello. too far to ride in day.

but may be keen for the weekend after

back on topic: how is the steering with that set up?

Nice to get some dual use out of your bike Wikd, it’s a nice area to go for a ride in too :)
