March 24, 2009 at 6:22 am #126588I think that Adam ‘Krusty’ Ferguson also does moves and the business is something like ‘Ferguson Bike Movers’ or similar.
There are others around and as I find them I will post up for you is still required
As an aside, where is the bike and where is it going (could make a difference as there may be a few contacts that could be used).

March 24, 2009 at 6:32 am #126610Ok, well that is a bigun.
Have you thought about removalists or trucking companies (just a thought)?
The reason I asked about the from/to was that I was thinking along the lines of seeing whether the locations fit into a race season and throw some dollars to one of the teams for the transport (some do it, some don’t), but the from/to in this case kinda rules that out. Sorry.
Will ask around though.

March 24, 2009 at 7:09 am #126612Being involved in the transport industry as such I would be careful and would try and get in on a removals as such before I put it on with a trucking company, I could tell you stories that would shock you!

I’ve had a bad experence with transport company’s before, when my ute went from Mackay to Port hedland, i went to pick it up, it was parked down the back of the yard in the corner when i looked at it…. it had a fork twine through the tail gate and the back spoiler ripped off, they said it was like that when they got it…what a sh*t fight it was to get them to pay for it
