I rode both loops yesterday and it was in awesome condition and there isn’t really any greasy up hills that should bother you Unit. Maybe check your tyre pressures. 12-14lb would be the go.

There is one loooooooong uphill that will test a few in one spot, but momentum as opposed to traction is the key there.

Sounds like the riding will be great, moisture wise. How am i going to keep my mind on the job all next week before we go! At least it will be a short week cause we will be going early friday! Bring on next week. Is there much rock over there i usually run higher pressures than that. I have ridden Woolgoolga is it like that.

    Hey Aaron

It is similar terrain to Woolgoolga. A setup that works around Woolgoolga will work well in Wauchope.

12-14 psi would be perfect. I run 13 here.

    Bring it on!

I have acquired a factory ride for the event! It was set up for Australian conditions by the yamaha team. Exactly how it came out of the factory hope that setup works!

I have just gotten back from doing another run around and over Bago this morning and last night’s rain has made it even better than yesterday…..if that is at all possible. :)

There are a few rocks to contend with on the loop but the recent rain has made them soft.

I’m currently sitting on the balcony of port central watching the world go by wondering if tomorrow my cast will come off and stay off. Then I was wondering what the plan was for us cooks next weekend?

Good Luck with gettin` the cast off mate ;)

As for the cooks,,, I will have my Cruiser there with BBQ in the back and I presume Kram will have his ute with the others & eskies etc.
We will just cruise on up to the central area Mick has organised, setup & sit back & watch the dudes go round & round I suppose. A few cold ones will be consumed whilst we do that too

BTW, I just got back from my maiden voyage on the Super Commuter (rode into town to get some fuel & run some charge back into the battery)
Knee coped well, although I still have to be extra careful on the dismount & watch out for any twisting action  Will still be off the dirt rides for another two weeks at least (hence the BBQ Bitch position next week)

    See ya there man

    Geez Mick,,,
I just perused the weather forecast for Fri & Sat & it don`t look too flash at the moment.
Thunderstorms Fri & showers increasing Sat
I know this will probably change thru the week, but I will bring my tarp etc so we have some shelter for the cooks at least

BBQ is already loaded in the cruiser ready to go (that way I won`t forget it) ;)
