BoonyDOes that mean you’ll be riding then Boony.?
September 15, 2009 at 11:51 pm #152938As much as the guys at Louee recommend 18psi, I have found that with UHD tubes you are ok at 12-14psi, and it makes the ride much more enjoyable. Don’t worry too much about it.

Its up to you Menace you can run whatever you like, cant remember ever going to Louee and someone didn’t get a flat. The joint is that dry, dusty and rocky the difference between pressures will be minimal, but if its wet a good tyre will be worth its wait in gold (well a quality tyre will)
Never seen Louee wet but  dont think it rains therePicking the tyre up is not a problem Menace have to go down and pick up Moto’s damper and fit it at Louee anyway

September 17, 2009 at 12:10 am #152823The owners of Louee only recommend 18psi because they change tubes for free.. It means less work for them..

They also charge for there tubes, and only fit the ones you buy from them for free
Not everybody has an angle to get us

No to be a cynic TB – well ok, maybe I am! But after changing fifty billion flats I am pretty sure they recommend 18psi not to ensure you have a good ride so much as to prevent them spending time changing tyres. And there is nothing wrong with that. Hell, for most of their customers I would agree 100% with their theory.
Just take it under advisement and if you choose to run 18psi then you will be less likely to have a flat, but more likely to have less control of the bike. If you run less than 18psi, for goodness sake make sure you have a UHD tube, and try not to spear into sharp rocks. You will have more chance of getting a flat but I wouldn’t run 18psi there in a pink fit.
