Moto is it true your flogged worn out Michelin S12 rear drove around Ollie’s bogged retread fitted bike?? You would have not had the benefit of a run at it either I would guess

In fairness there was a small slippry branch of a tree laying at an angle. It wasn’t a lack of grip that caught Ollie and Tim out it was the tree. I just rode over the tree a different way.

Howeever, we did come across an agled hill climb later on theat the S12 tractored up with an off camber turn half way up. All the other boys a different line so they could go straight. It was impressive how the Gas Gas chugged up it at fourstroke revs though.

I’m going to run the same busted ass S12 for the caves ride too! :P

How much money do you attribute to the retread when you crash because of lack of grip and need surgery? It only has to happen once in your lifetime to make it worthwhile using S12’s every ride

I’ going to make a point of the S12’s now (I was saying to kevin the other day) and am going to run it next weekend when I do a quick ride with him and for all of the caves to caves ride. By the end of that it would have done over 1700+Km’s  ANd several 100 K’s of that would be dirt road and tar :)
