I must say that I wasn’t all that keen for day three but once we were on the bikes all was good :woohoo:
Started the day by going accross the creek at the Basin and straight up into the steep rocky hills  That got the heart rate up so we continued riding through all of the single out towards the Koala trail :woohoo: Opted for the easy drop down to the koala trail and then we were into it again. Stopped after near braking my nose with a tree branch for a bit of a rest and to inspect and mop the blood up from my sore beak
Great fun coming up from the creek and then onto a section that none of us did cleanly. With a little help from each other we were off down to the Kulnura road, then up Wave rock which we all did without too much help and on to the fuel stop. Its amazing how much fuel is consumed doing the really snotty sections as I think Mal put in 6L and the Husky still wasn’t full
I’d say Tim and I put at least that much in maybe more
Finished the day by following all the singles back down to the Basin. Top day out :woohoo: Mal had to have a second go at the hill coming out of the basin in the car but nailed it on that attempt.
Thanks for coming up for the weekend Mal :woohoo: :woohoo:

Mal trying to use that rekluse clutch to an advantage but it was just too wet and slippery so momentum (spelling?) was the key for success

Much better on the second attempt

The rekluse clutch in Mals bike did have its advantages when on dryer steep hills. It almost looked easy but when he did stop it was a bit awkward having no first gear to pick so as it didn’t roll back down the hill. On saying that Mal did handle the Husky quite well :)

Day 3 pic and video. Didn’t get much as there was only three of us so the pace was up a bit.
