    Hey all
Just been out for a little 5 hr ride with a young fella from work
Jet’s not a bad young fella but just didn’t have the heart to really have a go.
We were blocked by creeks that were too high and the Hunter Down Hill treddley riders had taken over a whole lot of bush for the Australian Champions for the weekend. So when Jet didn’t want to do Amazon we had to do a huge tar section. ;) Not to worry we made up for that on a great trail and nice challenging hill at Slippery Rock. :) Jet managed to conquer this hill after a few words of encouragement at times. B) Then we rode some singles back towards Boarding House Dam (stopped for a look, plenty of water flowing over) and then on to ride down Amazon. Almost as tricky as riding up in those wet conditions. From there we bee lined straight home.
    98kms covered today
Unfortunately a lot of open and even some tar. :(
All in all it was great to get out in the wet conditions. :woohoo:
    Some pics to come
    Cheers
    Murph
BTW Jet reckons he picked his bike up over 10 times.

Like I said we were beaten by some of the creeks, Jet is standing in the high ground just before it dropped into the deeper main flow of the creek.

Jet on any easier section of Slippery Rock and yes even though it is sandstone it was slippery in places

Heaps of fun was had and I am hoping my young fella, Tim can have the Monday off of the 2-4-12 so he can help his poor old man to lead the group through everything.
    Over and out
    Cheers

That sort of water seems somewhat familiar…. :)
The great thing about you Murph is despite the wet conditions you still put on a great ride and have alot of respect for the riding areas to ensure they don’t get ripped to shreds by your guests. Well done.
