    Hey tf2
Your right mate, that must of been the only spot that had anything that looked like a wave, goodonya :)

couldnt believe it myself Coastalwatch said 1-3 ft swell on coast and after i drove to 5 other breaks found nothing. was heading home and thought i would do some site seeing as i had nothing better to do then found some real fun waves. true to summer but i went back today thinkng it was a magic spot for that swell and it was a lake

An excellent adventure was had by all. :cheer:
All the crew were good riders with a constant steady pace.
The guys were riding past obstacles as though it
was just 2nd nature and wasn’t worth a second thought .

    Highlights

    * A small wallaby hopped in front of Austblue and somehow they didn’t collide.

    *Austblues superman descending Razorback.

    * Moto’s attempt ascending Razorback

    * Murphs ability to link single trails together.

    Had a great day

    Had Fun. :cheer:

Murph you certainly put on a ride for the hardcore. Yesterday was a shocker with the heat.

    Excellent reports and pics.

AB you seem to be cursed with your bikes mate :( , hope you get it sorted soon and the curse can be lifted.

When it cools down a bit I will put my name down for a Murphsburg. Dont know if I am hardcore enough though

You’ll be fine Dan you ride better than me :woohoo: I’m really a surfer not a bike rider
Your right about the heat though, I was cramping up a fair bit on the way home. The ride was about 110kms but felt like more in that heat.
Hope to organise a couple more on the weekend of the 6th of Feb when Mal5.1 is coming up :)
    Cheers

Hmmm I might just have the WR finished by then Murph.

You must be quite the surfer then Murph cause you can certainly peddle a bike

Thanks Murph for a another great ride and leading the way for the day. Also thanks to dude for sweeping, a stirling job mate.

Austblue – I can’t believe your luck with bikes, I hope you get it sorted mate. You seemed to crash in front of me every time which was quite amusing :P

My knee is okay, still a bit sore but nothing to worry about. It was a tough ride and the changes I had made to my bike weren’t working in my favor but you don’t know these things unless you try.

I took the wrong way down razorback and ended up in a spot where I had to take the bitch line down, I can see I’m not going to live that down. I did have a crack at going up which was tricky as you can’t really get a good run up to it due to the surface just before the rock face. I thought for a split second I had made it, only to find myself on arse with a hurt knee seconds later….and we weren’t even half way through the ride :P

Later on I had another good stack ona rocky downhill when I tried to change lines and my finger slipped off the brake in the worst place possible. The result was another knock to my knee a big doof in my expansion chamber and as I found out later, the loss of my watch.

I was getting quite tired at this point and hanging on to my angry bike was becoming a massive struggle.

We all made it back for a chat at Murph’s at the end though so it’s all good :)

No real mods other than fixing the airbox (the way Yamaha should of done it) new hot start cable and clutch cable, plus I am waiting on some new spokes (I broke another three  ). I just have been very slow putting it back together. No major problems with it though :) The fork seals need to be done – but once again I have been slack with pulling them apart and replacing them. I have new seals sitting in the shed for about three months now

I have to take some of the wrap for Dude struggling in that vid. I accidentally led him astray and getting back on track was a little tricky especially in the heat. From memory we popped over a small log and then I came across another but thought the trail led to the right and Dude followed me. He did a bang up job of keeping that big bugger of a bike under control all day in that heat.

Here’s my super man effort! Watching back I think maybe I’ve come off the clutch a little with too much revs and it’s lifted the front into a drop washing it out and out to the right sending me over the left hand side of the bars but its just so frustrating to watch!
edit: the descent starts at 4:00 or so, the lead up is me bludging along trying to conserve energy knowing what I was coming up onto.
    Enjoy! :silly:
