    nice vid.
for those who havent ridden this bit take notice of the trail sides in the first part. if you get out of shape you may find yourself sliding off the edge.it would be interesting to get your bike back if it went over the side.

Austblue, dont let it beat you, just hit it again.

I have to take some of the wrap for Dude struggling in that vid. I accidentally led him astray and getting back on track was a little tricky especially in the heat. From memory we popped over a small log and then I came across another but thought the trail led to the right and Dude followed me. He did a bang up job of keeping that big bugger of a bike under control all day in that heat.

    Not your fault Austblue. ;)
I was just in the ‘sheepzone’ just blindly following but when I saw the hole ‘bad memories cam flooding back’
    Not going throuht that.
    must jump log.
    Went bush and thats that.
Will learn from it ‘go faster through bush’.

I’ll try not to hit it I think, better to ride down it next time ;)

I went over the edge and slid down but luckily a nice rock caught my bike by the expansion chamber and stopped it from following me over. It was only Murph, smurph and I so I reckon it’d be a long job getting the bike back up if it went.

Congrats Murph, you seem to have the knack of putting a good ride together and busting blokes, bikes and spirits

These Murphberg rides look like killers to me.

Bloody hard work puting loops together that will challenge these Newcasle riders :X They are all top blokes and great riders :woohoo: :woohoo:
    Cheers

Austblue, I will have to get a copy of your videos somehow as I can’t open them at work and the dial up at home is just too slow :(

I’m onto it – just procured some blank dvds from work so I’ll be able to set it and forget it tonight then get them in the mail some time this week. I haven’t even watched them all yet, on saturday I stopped into the car wash and gave the bikes a quick spray then unloaded them at home and put the ute away and got kitted up for my mate’s 30th and walked across town then spent the next 8 hours rehydrating by way of bundaberg. Sunday was spent recovering :)

gotta get me up to a murphsberg this year. definately.

looks like hard work, combined with hard laughs

it will prolly near kill me and i will at some stage be sitting on the side of the track thinking “why did i do this, bugger it, im walking out. leave the bloody bike here…its insured”.  (ive been in that situation before)

after your lie down in the rutt, i can hear someone let out a woo-hoo, it cracked me up. thats what riding is all about. ;)

That would’ve been Moto – he confessed that he was on my tail for most of my lie downs which explains the bag of marbles he carries around :p

If you like that you would’ve loved the chorus of bike horns I got on the gorillas in the mist ride when my bike and I did a hippo flop into a deep puddle to cool off on from the drizzle :D

ha ha moto was my first guess..

he is a know trail larrakin
