Quick report on the mxcentral ride park ride yesterday.
We didn’t take any photos as we were too busy riding all day. Sorry but not

For the first lap of the mx track, i took I took the tm. I found the mx track I little rough from being ripped and muddy from the watering. We thought we would go play on the dirt track for a while, in speed way configuration.

Now Racytracy loves dirt track. So she worked on the techniques she learnt watching a riding instruction video before going to bed the previous night.
I took the elsinore (73 cr125) out for a spin. Sooo much fun. Infact, I had soo much fun I little bit of pee came out.

Next I took racytracy’s ttr230 out for a spin. I lined up to ‘race’ a cr450 and a tm450. I cheated and jumped the start. The cr passed me but I got him back. However the tm passed me down the back straight. I chased him down and passed him back. For about ten laps I would be passed down the straight and pass back in the turn. Having learnt that he likes to overtake on the inside I would cover the inside line and force him to pass on the outside. Eventally he would have a big moment and give up. He returned to the pits and get a ribbing from his mates. I released that the choke was on, so I turned it off and lined up at the start again. The guy on the tm lined up next to me again wanting to beat me. Especially now that his mates knew that I had the choke on last time. He blew me away down the straight as usual and I would go underneath him on the inside. This went on for a few laps until he held the lead for a lap and return to the pits and loaded up the bike the winner. Next time we meet, I’ll ride my tm or at least take the restrictor out of the ttr

By this time the mx track was smoother and stickier. I headed out, alternating between the elsinore and tm. I was all over the place and barliegh ranch is one of the most dangerous tracks getting around if you make a mistake. So I decided to ride slow and smooth. I was getting passed by everyone and lapped by team Kawasaki and friends. I noticed that that the stopwatches were out, so I guess I should be lapped. I did pass one of the team suzuki riders though, however he was on the ground at the time. I stopped to watch the pros do the step up double. Pretty good, however when one of then tried too hard to land set up for the inside corner he came down.

    Lessons learnt
I now suck at mx and can only race swappers on the dirttrack
Ando still carries on like an excited little kid, which is a good thing
    Racytracy loves the speedway track
My sister, who is a mx rider, is very quick to give up
You are supposed to run a trials tyre on the dirttrack
The mx track gets better as the day goes on
The tm has wider power and better suspension then the elsinore

Nice to see you sticking it to guys out on the TTR Champo. Would have been great if you smoked em’ on the Elsinore too

You always sem to ride really well when on the TTR, maybe you should sell the TM and buy one

yea i think the tm is holding me back.
i did take the tm out for a few laps, the speed down the straights was scary, especially going in the corners. i think the ttr and elsinore would be quicker mid corner though.

however, if i was brave and skillfull, i would be able to back the tm in and power slide through and out of the corners. if only

next time i would have to take a stop watch.

It would be interesting see what laps times you do on all 3 bikes. I’d even donate mine for comparison so that everyone can blame the the fact it’s slower than the TTR on the PDS:P

    TTR’s are very under-rated.

What bike can you flog all weekend, put it the shed and drag it out the next weekend and flog the crap out of it again without problems?

I know now, any bike that comes out of Japan.
