Got off to a reasonably early start, had the ute packed up the day before. Pulled up to the camping area at the pine forest about 9am cold and surrounded by about 30 unrego’d ferals on bikes tearing the place up. Geared up and headed out along Blackfellow’s hand trail, was doing pretty well for someone that had only ever ridden in a paddock in second gear, then about 1km into it, without warning SAND!!!!

WTF Tiny you didn’t warn me bout that sh*t, stalled, started off again and another km down the track same sh*t SAND!!, started to get frustrated when up rides Tiny and says “Oh yeah, just drop down a gear and go faster through it” a bit too late but i never stalled it in the sand again :P :P

Had a nice cruise down to Walgan Gap,a bit iffy going down the hill, but managed quite well i thought, stopped for a few pics and a drink.

Than i realised we had to go back up the farkin hill, i said to Tiny i don’t think so, he told me to follow him up, off he goes, i get to the bottom and Tiny halfway up, i picked the wrong line, stopped and thought “No i will do this” threw her into first and up i went, a bit wobbly, but hung on and stayed on:P :P

We then headed to the lost city for another rest and drink, took some more pics, had a bit of a scary moment in the sand near a big tree, but avoided hitting it lol.

Continued back towards the pine forest and done a loop around that. Tiny had disappeared, came around a corner a bit too fast on some rocky sh*t and, being a girl, i didn’t want to go down with the bike so i let her drop, (no Tiny it was not a crash, i let it go )Picked her back up, got her started and headed back to the car.

I had a blast, the bike went really well, never had a problem with it, although an upgrade with a push start would be lovely :P

Good stuff T’s B! Know what you mean about the kick start – and I suspect our route through there was on slightly harder tracks than those you went on today! Gotta get a new battery ASAP!!!

Hope to see you out there sometime!
