After having a great day out with the training wheels gang on friday the 13th.I have had some trouble with my left foot. The large stick that pierced my old rossi boot has infected my ankle I can’t walk on it or ride and the doctor has put me on three different types of antibotics to fight the infection.A sweet little nurse comes twice a day to my house to give me a injection.I can’t go to work for five days and now my mrs is not happy. Now I know why Friday the 13th is BLOODY BAD LUCK. Anyway once I recover I will be back!Who would think that a little scratch would cause so much bloody drama.

 Thats no good al all XR!!!!
Hope it heals well & quickly for ya mate,,,

Sounds like some good quality boots are the go for you too mate ;)
I learnt that lesson last Feb on my first 2 day ride with the Crew to Hill End, came off & badly bashed the ankle leaving it quite swollen & many different colours
It still gives me grief from time to time, so let it be a lesson to all.

Not good to hear Jason. Hoping you get back on the bike sooner rather than later.

I suggest you retire the Rossies before you get a second stick.

Hey, look on the bright side – I wish a sweet little nurse paid me a visit at home twice a day!

Well HACK there’s something you can do from home for the next few days – make sure [strike]the wife [/strike] Santa leaves a decent pair of boots under the tree. Google “Enduro boots”+review and see what is out there.
    Here is a start : http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/archive/index.php/t-16599.html

You could even start a thread on Old bulls asking what boots people would recommend.

    Cheers
