Thanks to TB & the crew for organising the ride. I scored a box of Motul products – happy days :)

Tip for new blokes – Apparantly all you have to do is look vaguely like an american late night talk show host to get a prize !

The ride was a real variety. From black top, to dusty open stuff, to sand, to tight single, hills, steep decents, & everything in between.

Well, my near new Tenere is now well & truely 2nd hand & a bit bent in places – as are my ribs :(

Had a really good day on Saturday until ( as Casey Stoner said to Valentino Rossi ) “my ambition outwayed my ability”

I need lots more practice riding before attempting another Nav ride. I’m not used to that sort distance (unless it’s all open stuff) & paid the price for getting tired & losing concentration.

Will try & do the full 2 days next time.

    Cheers,
    Bucky

School holidays training ride Bucky! :woohoo:

I know a bloke who has a GPS map he can lend me… ;)

    You know a bloke with a spot…

    What could go wrong?

I finally got around to uploading these photos.

This is where Bucky took his fall. Was getting a bit late in the day. I’m not sure who actually decided to lay down first, the Tenere or Bucky :pinch: :

Either way Bucky was a little camera shy. I think he may have been shedding a bit of a tear for his new ride :( :

Has to happen sooner or later (I know that doesn’t make it easier to swallow though

And of course, not to be out done by one of those bloody novacastrian’s

THREE times he dropped the KTM and his two riding mates didn’t pick up a camera, they picked up his bike… my bike rolled off the side stand and he wants it on the front page of the Sydney Morning Herald! Bucky overbalanced and tripped and now he’s accused of falling off while riding?

    Just one goat… and you’re a goat f…

Bucky, all future rides run for the camera, not to help Massey!!

HB, you’ll need to come on the next one! I know a bloke that carries a multi meter so if you need one trackside you’ll be right! ;)

Gotta say that still has to be the funniest thing I have ever seen out in the scrub. I thought HB was going to grab his ears to make sure his head didn’t fall off.
