That’s actually a pommy thing. Highstreet is one word when referring to the main road of town with shops etc., don’t ask me why. Anyway the point was that I don’t think before I post. I just demonstrated that I’m not the only one :)

Ha ha! I was total luck! You Aussie’s do refer to a mian street as being ‘the high street’ as well though don’t you? Space in between the words or not….

Nah, main street’s the main street mate!

High street indeed!

Actually us surveyors have a lot to answer for in terms of street names! My favourite in town is Gobolion Street… or maybe Montefiores Street, dunno, they both roll off the tongue so well!

So Mick, is the bike in as good a condition now as when you sold it before?

Dunno, she said it wont start and it needs new tyres, but for $200 bucks I thought I’ll by it without seeing it.
It already has a YZ50 rear shock in it that I wouldn’t mind getting back.I still have the original shock for it at home.

Cheers ECKS, so it’s main street then. I’ll remember that, or just say ‘let’s go into town’ :P

I’m having mental images of the commodore wagon pulling up and boxes of loose parts, nuts and bolts being thrown out the back tailgate before she drives off in a cloud of dust! “Oh, by the way, it needs new tyres!” 😆

Just been through that very scenario with an XR600 in “Parts” we got for $150, when he said in parts he meant it. No two bits were bolted together, including the engine!!I Kinda pictured an engine, frame and wheels in a nice neat package.

In regards to the PW80 it is all together and I reckon I will probably have it going for the weekend no matter what is wrong with it, unless they have run it with no oil.

Hahahahahha Ye of little faith.
Apparently the front brake cable broke a few months after I sold it to them and they never rode it after that.
It looks just like the day I sold it to them except for some rust on the front rim.
It started third kick and hauled me up the drive way, no worries.
