good enough for Jordan Curvalle to win a world e1 chapionship sure it will haul my arse around ok…..
ah so they do. Sorry mate my bad, didn’t look hard enough. Mine work ok, they just had a once through oil system for 18 months. Fixed sort of now.
I read they feel really light and have heaps of grunt for a 250.
October 19, 2009 at 4:27 pm #155654Hey robo, I’m just looking around to see who sells these things – any hints? I spotted a vic seller on bikesales but I’m kind of hoping there’s a dealer up this way.
October 19, 2009 at 4:46 pm #157208Try this austblue. I have had dealings with Lithgow and Picton. Both good shops and willing to help.
October 19, 2009 at 4:48 pm #157209Well spotted there Mal, my parents are in camden and I’m due to drop in on sunday so I might see if I can organise a run for the saturday. I notice that the trials version has a 2.9 I wonder if they do a bore kit for the enduro model.
October 19, 2009 at 4:55 pm #157210Just peaked at the sherco site and there’s a banner showing a 3.0 enduro but nothing else once you click, what a tease!

3.0 sounds nice – 2.5 engine with a larger bore and due along with the 2010 release which is when???

And tell them to hurry up with my Husky. If you are looking at the 2.5i, check out the Husky 310. Talk to Steve at Picton about remapping. He rekons he has got some huge improvements out the Husky. Shercos are harder and more expensive to remap, gas gas are a little easier and they reckon the Huskys are shit easy, just log in and change what you want.
Back on topic.
The Shercos are a great machine.October 19, 2009 at 5:25 pm #157213Austblue wrote:

About September 2010 here mate.
It’s sad that they don’t get then here ealier as they would sell more. The 3.0 would be a nice bit of gear.October 19, 2009 at 5:34 pm #157214I haven’t given the 310 much of a chance because I had a recollection that they’re a sleeved down 450 which I wasn’t keen on and I might have also read that husky’s 4t wasn’t as good as their 2t. I do like the look of the husky though.
So you live in lithgow and get your bike worked on in picton?!
Not that I’ve read around much but I’ve never heard a bad word about the new shercos and there’s a lot of praise out there for them and I’m tempted to try something a little different. Tried to find a beta dealer in NSW with no luck also.

I was chating to him at the Trials Nationals about Trials bikes but I think he can get the enduro models as well.
October 19, 2009 at 6:13 pm #157217Did you ever enquire about the R models Mal or are they new? I imagine they’d be pretty $$$ with the ohlins otherwise they wouldn’t have the base model.
October 19, 2009 at 6:31 pm #157219From memory the 2007 model was about $1800 more for the R version. The dealer in Lithgow has a 5.1 and a guy on DBW has the 4.5 with a slipper clutch. The R version has a slightly different map, competion pipe and the bare minimum of a wiring harness and of course the Ohlins.
October 19, 2009 at 6:37 pm #157220That’s a chunk of change hey! The 09s seem to be priced quite competitively at the moment but then that seems like the run-out price. I just shot robo 99 questions – with any luck he can’t sleep either
