Well I have finally found my next bike. I feel it will fit in with the normal carrying requirements for when I ride with Kylie and we need to take everything just in case.

    What do you reckon?

I have never seen one before – its a 2003 model that one of the blokes at work has. Very XT250 like.

I might be able to start it now but remember I failed DISMALLY at getting the dipstick back in

I have just never seen a SUPER SHERPA before, thats what got me taking the pics. I wouldn’t get rid of the WR unless you could get an electric start fiddy.

Ahhh yes young grasshopper, anyone can start a XR650 if shown the right way…..and with a bit of practice.

But the dipstick certainly is a piece of work and sorts out the men from the boys.

I am definately a boy then Mick

I said to TB a bung from a boat might be the go if I had to check the oil on the fiddy.

Maybe I should just stick to my WR, much easier to start and check the oil :) and leave the fiddy’s to those that can do it :S

There is a trick to the dipstick and it goes in easily.I think crash has had some dipstick grief and had to buy another after cross threading his.

With my bike, I put it in at an angle first with the end of the stick across to the right hand side of the oil tank, then straighten it up before screwing it in and all is good.

I shouldn’t laugh too much – considering Yamaha makes pianos and all.
