That is one gnarly rutt!! Can’t you just put your feet(outriggers) out and tractor up it like an XR rider would.

Going on the trees and palms in the background I am thinking that is up north somewhere? Between Coffs and the QLD border maybe?

A border ranges ST brethren area… yep you’re right Mick, nice species ID, you SFNSW by any chance?

Nah was too steep for outriggers and pause, I was trying that at the moment that photo was taken, even the very fast bloke on the 525 behind me once lost momentum was manhandled back down, once you figured the line to take it was a quick runup, bounce from right to left across the rut in one spot and clear the crest, and brake hard cause all the others were waiting at the top for the next victim.

the old forestry commission name, State Forests of NSW=SFNSW

I just thought the road signs you had shown and the knowledge of plants endemic to areas might mean you were a “commish” man.

Yep rainforest can be fun, loads of S/T and steep gullies and hanging vines and slippery slopes and tree to hit and lantana to run into, ???? wait on why is it we love riding there so much? does the word masochist apply here?

Me and my brother Ant in a very similar position not far from where your pic was taken,Mr Blue. The pic isn’t that good a quality and it doesn’t really depict how steep that mother of a hill was.The pic was taken on my second failed attempt:blush: swearback_mountain2.jpg

I can’t believe I didn’t pick the State Forests NSW initials.Their head office is only a few hundred meters from where I work.Half the town works there.

Dunno what the hill was called,Black Zippo christened it Swearback mountain, as I let rip with a few choice adjectives when I crashed the second time.
