G’day
Recently joined OBT.
In me shed I have a variety of offerings.
Pride and joy, fully worshipped 09 Husaberg FE 570, with a few mods, fat boy springs, frame protectors, bark busters, B&B bashplate, 13/52 sprockets.
Also, my son’s JR 50, he’s nearly 4 years old
As well as a off-road camper trailer, Toyota Hilux dual cab 4WD, Ford XR8 Enforcer, BIG rum fridge, hell of a lot of tools of the trade (ex motor mechanic, currently fitter). box trailer for bikes, not to mention a hell of a lot of crap collected over the years. :woohoo:

I actually preferred the Yellow, but the Enforcer only came in Envy Green. The misses liked the green so green it was!

AnonymousNice bike mate, I really like the Husaberg’s and was very close to getting one myself. Hopefully I’ll catch up with you at the weekend on Murph’s ride
You find the 13/52 a good combo on the big 570?

Dunno, that’s how it came. Very toey (very smooth as well). I don’t mind but, coming off KTM 300 with similar gearing and red spring! It has awesome acceleration and still good top speed, had it to 140km/h so far with a bit more in it I think. Thought about going for a 14 front or something just to experiment.

AnonymousShe should have a lot more than that my 450 will pull 165Km/h with bush gearing.
November 24, 2009 at 5:37 am #162540Bloody hell I hope you had the damper on doing that speed mine gets the jitters around 110 and up then my eyes open so wide I think they drag more than the brakes!
November 24, 2009 at 10:51 am #157627Had my crf250x up to 140 once !!! Hope the berg gets more than that! I’m thinking of getting one in the new year….

November 29, 2009 at 12:04 am #162687I got it up to 140 before running out of road.
Got a bit of headshake so had to hang on to try and push through it.
Will try the top speed soon!

November 30, 2009 at 1:52 am #163109Good stuff Husky! Did u get training wheels or are they older? The ones I got I am very dissapointed with, there crap. Cost me $190 as well!
Do you know what the restrictor is in the exhaust or wherever it is? I am wanting one!
Cheers
November 30, 2009 at 5:37 am #163177ivehad the bike nearly 12 mths now and it had the same training wheels , they arent real good are they.My 2 boys were 4and 6 when igot it (5&7 now) but had to get the training wheels for the youngest have just takin the training wheels off in the last month and now they can go where ever they want instead of being restricted to level ground with the training wheels they have both improved so much. The training wheels were good though for them to learn the basics and if you havent found the restricter yet its in the top of your pipe where it joins into the head of the motor its just a washer with a small hole in it rip it out and throw it. Now that there both mad as hell on riding the bike ive got to bu another one to stop the fights, thinking of buying a second hand KTM mini adventurer for the oldest boy .this the youngest out at the father in laws place ( he graded a track for them on his farm) and i better put one of the eldest as well
November 30, 2009 at 8:46 am #157628Nah I need to fit the restrictor!!!!!! My boy is nearly 4 but is only a light weight so the bike ges too fast for him (says mum!) even with only about 1cm of throttle movement!!!!!! I clocked him at 37km/hr next to him on my Berg!
