At YM the other weekend my Trail Teck speedo stop working just went blank on the first day. It is close to 3 years old so I didn’t think much of it think it would be the battery. So on the weekend I thought I would pull the speedo head out and see what type of battery I was looking for. After I removed the speedo head from the bike I soon learnt why it stop. It was not my speedo head some low life had changed it at YM. Whats the world coming too???????????

How did you know it wasnt your speedo head?
You are lucky, if you think about it most people would just remove all the stuff, and take the speedo not go to the trouble of fitting another.
Wouldnt you also have to remove your head light? Isnt the wiring down to the wheel contected to it as well, I have one but cant remember?

Bad luck, what is the world coming to, was the bike at the pub like crash said, didnt you lock it in the laundry like normal?

I cleaned and fitted it to the bike Friday morning and there was no holes in it.
It can be removed in seconds from the bike as i remove it when washing the bike.
