Mystery ADV ride this weekend 17th and 18th of September

I am going for a ADV ride this weekend leaving the the Mt Victoria Hotel (cnr great western hwy and the darlington cause way) at 3pm Saturday arvo. I am aiming to cover at least 150kms before dark, will be stopping just before dark to make camp (this is a self supportive ride and camping same as Camerons) Ride away the next morning at 7am (same as Camerons will be) I want to do 400 to 500kms the next day. I am aiming to be home on or around dark Sunday evening. All welcome if that interests you, route is over 95% dirt if it works as I hope it will. If all goes to plan we will camp at Dixons Long Point saturday night.

I assume you will be avoiding Sunny Corner with 900 weekend warriors trying to have heads ons with each other.

Yes mate for the most, I remembered and actually thought about calling into camp Galey for a roadie but :laugh: that wont happen :pinch: will more than likely come down Razorback into Sofala, may go through Hampton and up the Bridle trail I dont know exactly, I remembered the rally was on but mate

Actually stopping at camp Galey for a roadie and going out over Horrible sounds ok, ummm really should stop need to cover miles :whistle:

I would have been keen for this but not really geared up for it yet. As I finally have a weekend off to myself I will probably still take a run out that way somewhere on one of the days.

Can probably give you somewhere to meet us Sunday if you want mate. Besides which you don’t need all the gear as Deejay showed on the TTT ride, if you can carry a sleeping bag and a tent I can help you with the rest ( I have a inflatable mat I can carry for you, you can use my stove and your backpack for a pillow) just a thought

I have scored a loan of a 17ltr tank for the drz, so I could be in!! just have to talk to the Boss when she gets home. :blush:

Would anyone going have any objections to the start time at Mt Vic being moved to 2pm? If anyone listed does we will go at 3pm from the Vic it’s all ok just asking is all

What happened to the 24 litre for the DRZ? and what’s wrong with the DR650????

Hey Krusty, my DR650 shock is having a rebuild at Teknik, my 24 ltr tank I lent to a mate! So I am going to borrow your old 17ltr from Fish. Change the gearing and give the Banana a run.
