    Ok, The latest Goss,

The lads are in the Kitchener Pub and getting well lubricated. Chris T turned up late causing a delay this morning. It wasn’t long before his 690 KATO lost a gear lever. Krusty soon found it and it was returned to the bike. Shortly after, it appeared that Chris wasn’t getting enough attension from the group and to get more, decided to crash.

It is also reported that Eagle and I quote, is being a DIRTY BIRD.

    Cheers 02

I went for a bit of a test ride this afternoon with the thought of joining them tomorrow for part of the trip but as soon as I got into the rough stuff I new the shoulder wouldn’t hold up so decided just to ride out on the tar and have a couple of beers with them
and so have the recon mission to see what our intrepid explorers are up to and surprise surprise, they’re  up to their eyeballs in beer and rum

Krusty’s bike was still across the road with the seat off, he had gotten a bit shall we say pissed early and had given up I think. He stayed off the beer for a while and recovered to finish the repair job. The bike had been surging badly at higher speeds and TB correctly diagnosed a build up of gunge around the mesh filter on the fuel tap. Boulder and Krusty were cleaning it up and TB has a great pic to post of some sucking and blowing going on

I didn’t eat with them but the food was said to be delicious afetr which they started setting up camp on the grass outside the pub. By all accounts it was very dusty out there today and boulders Tshirt was testament to that. There were differing accounts of the heat of the day, Krusty thougt it was really hot but others didn’t think it was that bad, it may have depended on what people were wearing. 04022011.jpg

Looks like there has been some kind of problem on the ride, there has been some back tracking and a custom message sent out (what ever that means), hope all is well.
