    Gday Mick
IM after soom tyres for the v strom something with a bit of traction .they are 17 rear
19 front .apparantly bmw1200 are the same size,if you know of anyone with some old ones
    for sale for nabiac ride.
    thanks toes

Hey toes I can probably help you out with a front tyre. Drop round one arvo and have a dig through the pile of tyres I have here, dunno about a back tyre.

Mick you read it did you a 19 inch front adventure style?

Ummmmmmmmmmmm…………..AS a matter of fact, Yes. ;) I think I have a Kenda or the likes (maybe a Cheng Shin) that came of a XR some time in the past.

No XR in living history had a 19 inch front fitted my friend or rear for that matter ;)

19 inch Fronts are rare and not common as far as dual sport tyres go especially 2nd hand

Further the rim size width wise in a lot wider on the front of a Wee Strom then a normal dirt bike so even if it came of a magical XR it wont be wide enough sorry mate ;)

Krambach pub is where the three groups will meet I think after talking with Mick. That will be yours, Micks and my group. Then after a feed we can all ride into town

Meeting place is the pub at Krambach, this way Boony if your group has a flat or vice versa you arent left sitting on the side of the road at an intersection in the middle of no where. You have a pub and get a feed

Krambach pub it is. I am adjusting our route to there so I am sure you can as well

I am running out of opportunities to get the Tenere ready for this ride so I spent today fitting my crash bars ( hopefully not needed :) ) and setting up my luggage.
I have clothes , spares , first aid and waterproofs in the side panniers. And I have a tent , mattress, sleeping bag, pillow and cooking gear on the rear rack. I’ll wear a bum bag with tools and a back pack with water , iPod etc.

;) That Ten looks the goods Nick,,,
Good find for sure, I actually saw it for sale as well & let out a big sigh (not able to get one yet  )

I am still to pack the Commuter as well, don`t have as much to take as you guys (softing it in the Pub friday & a cabin Sat)
If I carted all that stuff, I`d be a week getting there anyway :P

See you wherever we meet up on the friday mate ;)

Looks like there is no pannier racks, if not then watch the bags on the exhausts there Nick, you wouldn’t be the first bloke to set them on fire
