I’m guessing that if the leading edge of the knob wears that you can’t reverse them on the rim.

My thoughts were after reading the bit in the link. That theyd be no good on rocky or stoney tracks. More for softer surfaces or smother hard pack. . I think they are more aimed at motocross.
