NEED INFORMATION FROM old bullriders

You have to remember that these blokes or any blokes that live within an hour from the big smoke( SYD) are a queer bunch!!!!!! To which they have requested that they stay at a pub overnight- NOT to sure where Brenkenridge is PUDDLES — but they could stay at the farm(BYABARRA)- ive two bloody houses on it- two double garages- OPEN THE BACK GATE and your straight into state forest and the best riding there ie “Wauchopia” . I have a bad feeling that they will want to stay at Willawarrin pub where there is only a few rooms and other members will have to get changed in front of them,,,,, Looks like southern run will be on the cards- stayin at the COOPY or HARRO pub???

Probably trailer the bikes to Elands and go from there.

Hey Rat. Remember the days of carting a 20 litre drum of fuel on the tank, stashing it in the bush and spending all day with a topo and a highlighter up at The Cells? Russell, the old owner of Gingers wouldnt fix the fuel pump so there was no fuel there (unless you rang him earlier and he brought some up on the grog run). Elands was full of hippies. You never knew if the tracks were booby trapped as it was rumoured dope was being grown up there… That sensation of putting together the ultimate loop that you discovered yourself. What happened to the sense of adventure?
I havent done a Wauchope to Gingers ride for about 6-7 years but we used to be able to avoid most of the main road to Elands from Comboyne.
Wauchope to the pub at Coopernook is a great ride if you know the good tracks. Shame they have logged so much of Middle Brother, Bago and Coopernook State Forests!

A lot of the good country between Elands and Comboyne( Innes View and Kings Head) has been fenced now and the Colling pass is pretty well the only way through now.

Rumoured to be dope growing there!!!! LMFAO

Gazetted roads can still be used even though they go through private property. We used to give the farmer a yell if we went near their place, otherwise ride quick.
What about through Killabakh? It used to be a good track and bring you out through some sort of organic farm on the wrong side of a 6 foot fence (which you could get around- just…) near Bobin. You then did a short road ride then up near TK’s (of Sidetrack fame) place into the bush- come out just south of Dingo Tops.

Good thinking Old mate,but we are needing to be more north of where you are talking. We are trying to get from Wauchope via Comboyne to Elands then into the Cells then out to to Gingers Creek with a minimum of main roads.

Very little main road my old way- far less than the Colling Rd. way. But who knows what it is like now???

Decided on doing byabarra through to Harrington PUB??????? SYD crew has been reduced to 4 only- a few have pulled out, i am going to try and convince them that its not worth staying at the pub and just crash at the farm??? pre booked rooms at HARRO anyway!!!!!! got a mate that will meet me at ross glen – he knows most of the trails from there through to coopernook pub!!! all good…… still think the ride from wauchope through to Gingers is worth attacking though!! i’m going to get stuck into your maps mick!!!!!!! we should look at organizing after chrissy party!!!!!

Old mate- sounds like your got some history up around the CELLS
