Haven’t done much with it yet, taking it out to Louee this weekend and will give it a bit of a test. Looks Good is about all I can say so far, electric start (good for the girls) airbox is a pr**ck to get to as TB and I found out post more after the weekend..
So that now makes
KLX 300 (250 with 300kit)

AnonymousHmmmm….looks like a brand spanker! I want to get my girlfrind a bike so we can do the occassional ride too. A TTR would be just the go, I would want a cheap one though as she has never even ridden a scooter before.
The new TTR like yours, look pretty good too. Enjoy your weekend at Louee you lucky bugger!
October 16, 2008 at 10:27 pm #109559yeah,lucky bugger….I am off to Coffs Harbour to see my daughter compete in a physical culture competition.BORING!!!

AnonymousWhat the hell is ‘physical culture’ when it’s at home?
I feel you pain though, 200Km’s for 7 minutes would be a bitter pill to swallow!

It is a cross between Dancing and Gymnastics,it is her mother’s attempt at keeping her as a girl and not a KTM racing tomboy..LOL
Trouble is, she is a dad’s girl and hangs out in the shed most afternoons with me.So Chris you are lucky that your wife wants to ride, you won,t get my wife anywhere near a bike.

AnonymousI work too quickly to notice these things normally Mick. I’m still trying to do some work and look for a house at the same. I’m trying to convince my girlfrind to move to Nelson Bay
October 19, 2008 at 10:47 am #109571The TTR110 did the job, is a good little bike, electric start is great, the wife had a great time riding it, any bigger and I wouldn’t get her on the bike, she likes the fact that she feels in control. So maybe if you wan’t to get your wife riding let her start on something small till they get the hang of it.
Cheers

AnonymousYeah, I was thinking of the new Husaberg 570 for the missues  She’s funny though, I said to her ‘how about we get you a nice little 125 to learn on’ and she said ‘will it be a fast as yours’? I laughed and said ‘no’ and she said ‘we’ll I don’t want it then’!
The TTR would be just the go though I reckon
I think you right, there is a lot of confidence to be had by feeling in control. probably why I can’t ride my bike
