When we were away Nick was discussing some ideas for the Adventure riding forum and good ideas all of them. I got to thinking that with him being so keen and right into the ADV side of riding and him having met and now knowing the forum sponsor (Steve at Adventure Moto) why not let him look after the ADV forum.
With the Adv riders numbers growing steadily at the moment and the amount of preparation that goes into an adventure ride I know Nick’s ideas and research will help everyone here. Nick has been putting routes together, gathering bike friendly accomodation locations, recommended bike shops and other helpful information that will grow the forum and help everyone here.
I would also like to on behalf of Chris and myself publicly thank the moderation team here for all that they do and I am looking forward to having them all together on the Birthday ride espically Aido

not sure if you have arrived back home yet.
You have certainly clocked up some Adventure miles in the last week.Mick
April 9, 2011 at 3:12 pm #199272It blew me away when TB asked if I would be keen to do a bit of work on the site in the ADV section, what could I say?? :woohoo: :woohoo:
I enjoy all types of off road riding but i’m really enjoying the adventure riding this country has to offer, when I moved to Australia I wanted to see as much of the place as i could and what better way to do it than riding dirt tracks with a bunch of mates overcoming problems daily to make the miles.
I truly believe anyone keen on riding off road should give this type of riding a go, the terrain varies from twin tracks, over grown single track, creeks, sand dunes, huge hill climbs, scary down hills. And when you have to do long stretches of gravel road or some tar transport sections make the most of the rest as it won’t be long before your sweating , muscling a fully loaded bike down a trail you’ve never ridden before.
Thanks to TB and Chris
