Yes moto, but he rode blue for a while(more than 10 mins is enough) and he is sure to have hit his head, is a shame really, but they are good fodder to play with:laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Maybe, after riding chops crf450 I wouldn’t have bought one but then after riding the KTM450 and 525 I probably would have, I found the CRF power to be to ballsy but the KTM’s were more controllable, wonder what the WR450 is like.

Should I put that in the thread of things that have been bought without telling the Mrs.

The KTM’s have a stronger engine than the CRF’s do mate I rode Chop’s CRF back to back with my bike and me and TB both agreed the it had more power/response.

The WR’s are much like the CRF’s I’ve found. I’ve ridden 2 WR450’s now and rate the same as the CRF. Both great bikes, I just prefer the KTM’s feel (more like your WR)

I found the new WR450 to have a hit in the midrange and a bit doughier down low, the KTM450s I had sampled where very linear, but the icing on the 450 cakes that I have tried was the MX CRF450F (’08) a powerhuse from zero to redline, absolutely the most consistent delivery and responsive of the lot, obviously doesn’t crossover to the X model, they tell me the injected husky is a real diamond tho’

but they are all good anyway
