Went for first real ride this arvo,
Steering feels different from old ktm may be its the 140 rear tire on it ,
Seems to push the front around a lot rear bogs in and stands the bike up straight through corners.

Dumped a lot of coolant this arvo thermo fan never cut in, it did yesterday up the dam but not today.
    Have to investigate tomorrow

Apart from that its pretty cool to ride
    Upside so far
    1 it’s new and shiny
2 heaps of power and comes on nice and easy
3 main components are good quality like chain and stuff
    4 hydraulic clutch
    5 electric start

    Downside
1 little things like plastic reservoir covers
    2 cheap ass indicator switches
3 not sure of the handling, but I’m not a good rider either

We will see how she goes

    Cheers Harold

You will need to spend a bit of time dialing in the suspension mate then you will be happy! Good to hear you like it.

    Hey “H”
My 012 500 boiled a few times at first (mainly due to the snotty terrain that we ride) but it was no good like that so the boys at KTM sugested a lower rated thermo switch. Did the trick. :)
On the suspension, I put heavier springs front and back but didn’t like it (I’m about 100kg geared up) Ended up leaving the heavier shock spring in and puting the original fork springs back in, I was happy. :woohoo:
    Cheers
