Ok so I just got a pair of Sidi SRS crossfires (in white as the only ones in my size – bit inconvenient cause when they are brand new AND BRIGHT WHITE you kind of feel like you need to moonwalk everywhere .. so prior to getting them dirty I did 😆 )

Back to my point … my old boots were fox comp 5 boots .. very comfy but felt EVERYTHING.

Hit my foot a few times on the maiden voyage of my new boots and didn’t feel a thing :) so money well spent.

BUT I will say this .. there were a few other guys on the ride who already had the sidis and weren’t to happy with how quickly they were wearing out .. the sole especially. Never heard that about a Gaerne and I would have gone with them if I could have found them in my size.. .just saying ..

Rach, have trust in your new purchase, they are brilliant boots and do wear very well.

I have had my Sidi Crossfires for 5 years and the soles are far from wearing out,and they get a lot of use.

Those guys may have sharp aftermarket foot pegs??

    Cheers Marty

Had my sidis for around 5 months, soles are nearly clapped out and had original pegs untill my last 2 rides.

Well I was all set on calling in to suttos on the way home and picking up a pair of sidi but by the time I got down to the hunter valley I had done a diff in the trusty old cruiser.

To top it off on the way home I smashed a roo around Isla gorge and bent the steering linkages.
I ain’t got a chance in hell of convincing the better looking half that I need a new pair of boots at the moment.
