For those that are looking for an off road riding facility, please consider throwing your support behind this:

“Tugalong Station is pleased to provide an update on the proceedings with our development application to be able to host a first class, family friendly dirt bike facility.

We have invested the last year in gathering the necessary reports that were requested of us. We engaged independent consultants to prepare and detail what we now propose for the site, Tugalong Station.

We would like to extend our highest level of gratitude, to those that have provided support via the web site, in writing and direct to the Wingecarribee Shire Council. For those who would like to provide support it must be made before the 26th July 2010 and made to the General Manager and Councillors PO Box 141 Moss Vale 2577.

We look to the future were we are able to provide you with a safe and legal location for you to indulge in your recreational hobby or profession.

Thank you for your continued support.

    With many thanks,
    Tugalong Station

This is what I am sending in …..

    Wingecarribee Shire Council
PO Box 141 Moss Vale 2577

    Dear General Manager and Councillors,

I wholeheartedly support the application of the Management of Tugalong Station to provide facilities to the motorcycling public at their Tugalong Rd property.
Facilities such as these provide a safe and structured environment for off road enthusiasts to practice and enhance their riding skill. It will reduce the number of riders tempted to ride illegally in suburban streets and parks. It will boost tourism and visitor numbers to the region and hopefully can grow and expand and provide employment opportunities in the future.
Please have the vision and courage to support a great idea and a much needed facility.

    Regards,

I’d support this joint for sure. My kids would love going there. We do go to louee a fair bit. It’s unreal and heaps of fun but a bit of a haul to get there from Newcastle (roughly 5 hours)so something a bit closer and easier drivin straight down the freeway would be welcome for sure.

    Thanks CathiM for sharing this.

I came across their website sometime ago and knew they were having some challenges with council.

Will forward my letter of support.
