I went out for a few hours today to patrol some of the more overgrown singles in my forest. After the work Tdriver and I did yesterday I wanted to make sure some other areas that I had cleaned up recently were still clear.
Out on one of the boundaires of mine I normally turn right onto a main fireroad but I had some time so I thought I would have a look what was up the other way. After about 1km there was an overgorwn intersection that I decided to have a look down. It did not show much promise at the top but it did look like it headed in the general direction of where I wanted to go so I headed down it.

It started to look better

and better

and before long it was aparent I had stumbled across a sweet piece of singletrack

The further I went the more buffed it became

I had never ridden this trail before but I started to feel like I knew what was coming and began twisting the throttle a little harder. As the trees began to blur my heart began to race

It was very well made and flowed beautifully through some stunning native terrain

By now I knew I was on a winner and it kept coming at me. Perfect, loamy, singletrack!

Just when I was starting to think I may have to turn around the last sections of the trail unfolded and delivered me back onto a major fireroad

I did not recognise it but I headed East and it took me back to an intersection that I knew. Perfect. I have named this one Outer Limits and I will include it in the upcoming ride
