    Hi Everybody,
My brother JAK is registered with this group, it sounds like a good idea.
If you have read his profile you will know he had a bad accident years ago and nearly lost his lower leg, what he never said was he was he was riding my TS250X that was not registered at the time. Tell me that didnt cause a few headaches.
I used to work at the local Honda dealer in the spare parts department. That is where i got the passion back for riding motorbikes again ( i used to borrow the demo CRF450X ), after my brothers accident i sold my Suzuki and my CR80 vowing never to ride again. But, as you all know it is not that easy to give up cold turkey. I now ride the ultimate bike “XR400”. I also own two posties, a Kawasaki KZ200A ( it was brought from a co worker in about three boxes, i have now but it back together. I am not sure why i spent my hard earned cash on this bike as it is not a collector item.)
As the saying goes “It has to be red to be in the shed”
    Cheers

    welcome to the asylum .

oh oh i mean Forum:P

yes it is hard to give up bikes!

i too had a bad off at 17 while working sheep. it has thus far ended my working life.

but i still ride. the bike is not to blame. circumstances and outside factors always have a part to an accident.

unless you are being a total nob while behind the controls.

    anyway welcome along.

where do you ride around Bendigo?

do you by any chance know Peter Clarke that used to work for ABS, or any of the crew that works with Andrew Baine?

Yeah i know him sort of ( thats puppet your talking about?)
The only contact i had with ABS was with the guys in spares when they got Honda spares off us.
The lady that owns the place now is Kaye Angove.
I mostly ride around the Wellsford Forest and out to Mount Sugarloaf and Big Hill.
