G’day just joined this morning and thought I’d introduce myself. My name’s Mark and I life on a small farm between Port Macquarie and Crescent Head on the NSW Mid North Coast. Just getting back into dirt bikes, wife thinks it’s my mid life crisis. Bought a WR426 to ride around with my son but have just traded it in for a more user friendly Husky 310 TE. Love to know if you host any rides around my area. Would be really keen come along.

PS I’m not very clever at this computer stuff.

Sounds like an awsome ride. Where your bikes were parked near the beach is a couple of Klms from my place. I’m inland a couple of klms but have a bush track down to Plommer road. Your right about plommber road, it can be a lot of fun. Plenty of water about at the moment though.

Sounds great. I’ll just have to get used to this computer thingie so I can find out when the rides are on. First sunday of the month a few of us get together for a wave if you’re around let me know.

Gday Kram, welcome to the site. I have done a bit of exploring around your place. Would like to do more, but I bet it is seriously wet in the Limeburners area at the moment.Does the road you live on have a gate across it right near where the track to Plommer road starts?? On new years day we came through from Big Hill and met up with a road that runs off Maria river road.
    Here is the ride report

Anyhow,I am at Wauchope and we ride all the time so keep an eye out for the rides we post.

BTW how did you find the site??

I’m not far from the track you used to get back to Maria River road and yes Limeburners is very wet at the moment. I was in a bike shop in Kempsey and found a flyer about the site. Thought I’d check it out. Glad I did.

Welcome to OBT Kram. As others have mentioned there is a fair bit happening not far from you so I’m sure you’ll hook up with the locals boys soon. You are in a great riding area :)
